Andreas flew over from Norway for a bit of bike shopping, as you do. First stop, Iron bridge and “Bicycles by Design”, where we learned to ride a tandem and test rode one of their “Landescape” tandems.

It was a steep learning curve, but we managed without falling off and even enjoyed the Shropshire hills. We had the tandem for a shorter ride on Wednesday and then a longer ride on Thursday. We then got measured up and had a quote for a bike with bespoke frame, we just needed to decide on a colour scheme!

Before we committed to an order, though, we had another date with a tandem shop further North.
