Norwegian breakfast buffets are pretty varied. This one certainly set us up for a day in the saddle an we were welcome to help ourselves to a packed lunch, too.

The day turned out beautifully sunny, with just a touch of tailwind. I had no idea that the South of Norway was this beautiful, or this hilly!

We stopped for a little play with Andreas’ drone – the video needs editing and downsizing, as the blog app only allows a maximum size of 64MB per upload.

We arrived at our hotel in Rysstad early enough to stretch our legs and visit the local co-op for a couple of beers and provisions for the next day.

We barely stayed awake for our dinner of interesting local delicacies and turned in early, with a long day of cycling ahead.
