{"id":232,"date":"2018-08-28T18:08:06","date_gmt":"2018-08-28T18:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fyr2fyr.brumble.net\/?p=232"},"modified":"2018-08-29T16:40:01","modified_gmt":"2018-08-29T16:40:01","slug":"day-6-geilo-fagernes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fyr2fyr.brumble.net\/?p=232","title":{"rendered":"Day 6: Geilo &#8211; Fagernes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We awoke to beautiful sunshine, but quickly realised that the hills were pretty chilly, so we used a bit of muscle power to get warm.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fyr2fyr.brumble.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/img_0499-3.jpg\" class=\"size-full\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\"><\/p>\n<p>We made it to Gol for a spot of shopping (a new water bottle to replace one that didn&#8217;t make the grade) and slightly disappointing pulled pork burgers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fyr2fyr.brumble.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/img_0504-3.jpg\" class=\"size-full\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\"><\/p>\n<p>We were glad we had the calories, though, the climb up from Gol was quite something, with plenty of switchbacks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fyr2fyr.brumble.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/img_0505-2.jpg\" class=\"size-full\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fyr2fyr.brumble.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/img_0507-3.jpg\" class=\"size-full\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\"><\/p>\n<p>All in all, this was nearly a rest day with only 80-odd km and a moderate amount of elevation. The hotel was plagued with a coach load of Germans, but otherwise very enjoyable.
